The Fear has Left My Body!

....And so has all the feeling in my extremities. I just completed another day of Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred. I never in million years thought that a 20 minute workout would send me into dry heaves. This one did. As I was doing the chest press on the floor, I felt a huge wave of nausea come over me. My arms are still shaking. I think I am going to try to shoot to do level one everyday for 30 days. I think that is the way the program was intended, but you know me, I like to make it my own way.

Someone, mentioned that the first week is HELL, but after that it is a "kick-ass rush". I hope she is right!

Today is back to the normal grind of kids in school, meetings, and work. I am sad that the holidays came and went so quick, but I am glad to be getting back into normal life. I am still working my PT gig though they cut my hours. I just found out that they will reimburse 50% of the cost of my Weight Watchers meetings. I. Must. Find. Out. More! Now, I really hope that they do not lay me off and that I can continue to work just for that benefit.

After I had my first daughter I went to Des Moines to auditions for The Biggest Loser and waited in line for 4 hours with my dad. I got to meet Matt (Hoover, who won) and Jen (also from Iowa, same season as Matt--who, by the way, has the most BEAUTIFUL skin I have ever seen in my entire life!!!!). In the audition room they asked me who I would want as a trainer, Bob, or Jillian. I chose Bob, because he wouldn't have to chase me up the hills--I'd be chasing him! :):):) HOTTIE!

Good job for keeping up with it!

That's cool about the WW reimbursement. My company reimburses 100% for your first round (either for a 12-week program at work or at regular meetings or for 3 or 12 months online).Unfortunately (or fortunately, I guess) I'm not quite overweight enough to qualify for WW. Maybe some day after I have a baby I can try it out. = )
