Remember all the candy from yesterday? This is the same candy that I vowed I would not touch. This is also the same candy that was send for my CHILDREN.
Yeah, I touched it.
Just one won't kill me.... When I snapped out of it, I there was a large pile of candy wrappers and I had to wipe the evidence of my caloric sin off my mouth. Don't worry, I justified my binge.
- I have PMS
- Chocolate is a good for the heart
- It is a holiday weekend
- Diva can't have peanuts yet so someone has to eat them
- I am saving the kids' teeth
- I am helping Chubby Hubby's weight loss journey
- The faster I eat it, the faster it goes away
- I would rather burn in hell than throw away a good Snickers bar (just kidding God)
- I worked hard and pre-burned off half the calories from working. (That counts right?)
Here is my plan:
- Force feed kids candy
- Back to veggies
- Lots of water
- She Devil DVD everyday this week
- Continue C25K
Happy Valentine's Day!!!

This is my biggest weakness/downfall when it comes to treats. I just can't seem to drill 'everything in moderation' into my head - if it's there, I eat it all!
Don't worry, you have time to undo the damage. And truthfully, it IS okay every once in a while... right?!
It's really hard when the bowl of shit is just sitting there staring you in the face....I do gave in to the Twix bars...but they were "mini" so all is good!! :-)
LOL, as Marlene said, I'm am such a victim of the faster I eat it, the faster it goes away mantra.
That being said, I don't have kids, and luckily the boyfriends is to young for the candy from school...whew!
You'll undo the damage, I have faith in ya!
That being said, I need to get my lazy ass off the couch and go run in our fresh 3 inches of snow...so much for spring, hey?
lol at your justifications. saving their teeth is a good one :)
Mmmmm, Snickers!
The faster I eat it the faster it goes away...hmmm...that was my mantra about chocolate chip cookies this week. What is wrong with this picture???!!!
I loved your justifications. But... that's why I give Hubby the chocolate to hide, and give me just a little every day. I have no control!
But... forcefeeding the kids candy?!? Hmmm... can I send my kid there too? :)

Well, sister, there's "good touch" and then there's "bad touch" and this is clearly a case of the latter (but yet feels soooo much like the former when you're doing it).
Still, I think that candy was asking for it. Now it wants to blame you.
Typical candy!
Evil Valentines Candy...
HA! You're like my wife - you can justify anything!!!
And regarding your comment on my blog: we still had our lights plugged in and on the timer. So they were still on every night. So we lose. You're the winner. ;)
Too funny! Candy is definitely a weakness for me. I just try not to buy it, but when you have kids and they get it from others, it's hard not to make them share! LOL.
Happy Valentine's day!
Thankfully, we weren't gifted with V day candy here, so I'm only gorging on girl scout cookies, sigh. Love your justifications, I'll have to remember them when I'm scarfing down cookies. ;o)
mmmhhh!!! Snickers
I had a major binge too (but mine lasted days) We just have to keep going and forget those bad binges
Totally ok. - Small treats are calorie free aren't they???
Yeah, I did that last night, too. My justification was "If I eat it all right now then I will not have to eat any tomorrow and can be back on track." Riiiiiiiiiiight.
these all sound like fantastic reasons to me ;) i'm all about 'the faster i eat it, the faster it's gone' theory. sometimes you need to let yourself have a few morsels of goodness and then force yourself back on track.
HAHAHAH! Ohhh Carly if it makes you feel better I have NO control whatsoever duing PMS as well. I don't blame you at all ;-)
I have to stop with the candy madness too!
The candy just sits there and taunts you doesn't it?
Em
sheDEVIL.
that made me laugh outloud...
I had to call the husband this morning and tell him that all the candy better be off the counter by the time I get home from work.
Love your rationalization list.
Those mini candy bars are sneaky like that - I can't even touch one at work because otherwise I will be in that jar all day. Jillian will beat it out of you!
Ah, PMS chocolate binges. I know them well.
Good luck repenting! I'm doing something similar this week myself. :)
Your justifications were great. Valentines Day candy took over my brain too...lol. But one day of being naughty isn't the end of the world!
I think those are all perfectly legitimate justifications! Especially about throwing away perfectly good candy bars. There are starving children in Africa, for crying out loud! It's a sin to waste stuff, right?
Good job for jumping right back in, though, with the counter-measures.
