Here is my week recap in bullets:
- I am up 1.2lbs. I am not too upset as it follows my gain every 4th week pattern.
- We are having a heatwave (30 degrees) so I walked a couple of miles to and from my meeting last night.
- I completed Week 1, Day 2 without injury.
- My bruises are now a purply-green color.
- I bought a Plantar Fasciitis brace and it seems to be helping.

This is the time of year when I usually wind up with a cold. I'm expecting it any day now...

Hell, I can 'gain' 5lbs during 'that week' without even trying. Feel better, it sux. Mucinex twice a day and work on your snot rocket technique.
Purply-green bruises are THE BEST! They are like the royalty of bruises and most people would kill to have a few especially around halloween because no over-the-counter costume make-up even gets NEAR the color of the real deal.
So count your blessings - but don't bruise yourself while doing it, sister!
Get better soon, sister! (I am walking a lot, too, while I await the promised healing of my own 3-month-old injury.)

I'm fighting a cold, too. Pretty miserable. But at least it gives me an excuse to curl up on a blanket and go find new blogs to read!
I hope it's a quick little cold and stays above the neck! I have been surrounded by colds at home and work and knock on wood have escaped so far. I think all my tea drinking has been my savior!

I have had PF myself and hte brace helped a lot. Not as much as the stretching though..do it ALL the time. Basically everytime you think of it. I was absolutely the best thing I did to make it go away.

I'm doing the couch to 5k too! I was going to be on week one day two ... except I caught the flu.
So I'm back to week one day one starting Monday. ;-/
