I have the BEST parents EVER! They booked a night in a hotel for us downtown Minneapolis as a mini-getaway. The stayed with the kiddos and we got to paint the town red.

Yes, we really are that lame. What you don't see is the clock. It reads 11:30PM and we are watching the news with our feet up. We really know how to live it up!
We got the opportunity to try out the sleep number bed...45 is my sleep number and I slept great!We had a fabulous time! I can't thank my parents enough for the most awesome gift. We don't get out much because of our schedules. This was a real treat. As an added bonus, my brother's now ex-girlfriend gave us a free upgrade to a king suite on the club floor of the hotel. She works for that company and was able to hook us up. It was pretty sweet!
It was kind of a crazy week here at house but I did manage to get a few runs in this past week. I hope to run 6 days this upcoming week. I need to run that much to burn off all the empty calories from this weekend.

Congrats! My wife and I will have our 23 anniversary in June. We have 3 kids 8, 13, and 17. The oldest graduate from high school in 2 weeks. Talk about time flying!! Enjoy each other!!
