Resume Normal Activity as Tolerated

I am not sure what normal activity is but those were my instructions as I left my doctor's office on Wednesday. If it means getting up the morning after a medical procedure and going for a 3 mile run than I am normal. I felt great and still do. The only issue I had was some extreme heartburn which I think was reaction to some of the drugs I was on.

My momentum continued throughout the weekend. Friday and Saturday, BFF and I had our annual garage sale. We got rid of most of our baby stuff. *sniff* As sad as it is to see the teeny tiny stuff go, it didn't make me want another. Not even a little bit.

Here are a few pictures from our sale.

Let the games begin. BFF and I placed a bet to see who would sell our most hideous item first.....scary looking Santa or oversized Cherished Teddy on a sled. Sadly, neither one went. Any buyers interested?
Yummy lemon scones we had at the crack o' dawn

OMFG.....the nutritional information on said scones
Business was kind of slow...

So it was time for lunch.
Sweet pile of cash. Not worth the effort or time, but certainly a great time hanging out.

I had to leave the fun of the garage sale Saturday to shoot some wedding photos. Add 7 hours of camera lugging to the day and you end up with one exhausting weekend. Here it is Sunday and I am being summoned to Job #2 in a few hours and I am procrastinating a run. I need to just get out the door........

Let your body heal. Don't push it too much too fast or your will burn out. Having said that--get out there and run!!

Santa isn't scary. Listen to your body and it will do you good. Don't push as Lazy said.

Sounds like a busy weekend. It's great that you're feeling so good after your operation. So, did you get out for that run? Gotta run off those scones.

Glad you had fun because garage sales are totally overrated - unless you've got big ticket items to sell, way not worth the effort.

Glad to hear your rollin! Hey, did the cup of gold bars arrive in a total heap of chocolate soup? Hope not!

Sounds like good times at the garage sale!

I always love your picture-filled posts! Hope the run went well, and that Job #2 treats you properly this afternoon.

I'm glad you're feeling good after the procedure last week. I think your doctor's advice is the best: Do what feels okay, so as long as you feel good, it's okay to push yourself.

Any lunch with a beer and a friend has to be a good one. Have fun with the run :)

Gosh... you are a busy person! We were going to have a garage sale but decided not to. Glad you did.

Take care of yourself. Normal activity could mean almost anything!

The rummage I had with all Jared's baby crap was a huge money maker. Nothing since then! Go figure!
Now they are just not worth the hassle.....
Take a break for awhile....I'm tired reading about your stuff!

Take it easy. If your yard sale was down in NC, I am sure all items would have sold. They live for these down here!

garage sales are so much work...bet you're glad it's done. glad you're feeling good!

I couldn't listen to people haggling over something worth a quarter or something.. lol. That's my take on garage sales. Walking away after chewing up the weekend with a whole $3.50 would probably be my end result, as well. :P

Glad you had fun hanging out, at least!

Good job on the garage sale. we need to have another one too. We just packed up all of the baby stuff and loaded it into a warehouse for my brother, and i was glad to get rid of it all. it certainly did not make me want another one.

Then sunday my youngest turned 2 years old and it made me appreciate how we don't ahve a baby anymore.

oh, and i want to make some kind of joke about normal activity and potato chips, but can't quite find the words. hang in there, you'll be blowing down miles before you know it.!

We always have the WTF item. It is either WTF was I thinking or WTF was they thinking? I seem to have more than one of those!! Glad to hear you are on the mend!

I'm glad you were able to get back out for a run so fast - way to go! The garage sale looks like a fun time. Want to sell my stuff next year? :)

I love shopping at garage sales, but you're right, they are always too much work to put on.

glad you are back to normal :) the garage sale sounds like it was a fun time! they are a lot of work though. i probably would've ended up buying all the friend's junk, lol.

So sad to see the baby things go.

What was so scary about the scone nutrition info?

Wow, props for getting in that run! Looks like you had a lot of fun with the garage sale ^_^ I've always found that it's more about doing the garage sale than what you sell, it helps me prioritize what I really want to keep...I end up donating what I don't sell.
