Lord help me, I am road tripping with the family and I am calling this trip "trapped in hell". Our normal two hour drive is now going on three and we still have a long way to go. Diva is not a good traveler...she screams. A lot. I am ignoring the shoe that just hit me in the back of my head. Someone has raging smelly gas and the music playing might send me over the edge. Chubby Hubby is torturing me by singing "Paradise by the Dashboard Lights"....gah...now I am the one "praying for the end of time". Mom, if you are reading this please start mixing the cocktails!
I can't believe it has been over a week since my last post. My middle son started preschool this week and juggling the new schedules is proving to be quite challenging. I hope we all get adjusted soon or it will be a very long year.
One of the downers to my new schedule is the very little time I have to workout. I am not using it as an excuse, it is a challenge that I need to work with. To make the best of it, I have been going to the gym over my lunch hour. I am able to get a solid 20-25 minutes. It is better than nothing. When I am there I have been pushing myself a little harder to get the most of it.
I have started my own version of the couch to 5k program (yes I am REALLY starting over). It is going really well. I also have a new devil machine available at our gym that has kicked my butt. It is the Expresso video bike. It is crazy fun, like Wii Fit only without the insults.
That is all for now. I must take over the DJ role now before I have to listen to the techno version of "Country Roads". In case you are curious, it really is as bad as it sounds.
