1. I am so relieved that tomorrow is Friday. It has been a helluva week here at the office. You know that stimulus money floating around? Well, 1/2 of my job is to provide quarterly reporting on how that money is being spent. We have a 10 day deadline so the pressure is on. Please do me a favor and check out how your tax dollars are being used. I want to make sure that the life I am losing caused by the stress of getting this information will not be in vain. (and Reese's eggs and Peeps, and Whopper eggs, and jelly beans) last night, it is clear that I cannot have that garbage in the house. I eat candy even if it is the nastiest kind (which is what the Easter Bunny brought).
3. For the next 3 days, I am consuming nothing but veggies, fruit, and water. It is my own version of a detox. I have planned out my menu and it is something I can stick with. Monday, I am going to add back the protein and whole grains. For three days, I can handle this....(I think). I honestly think this is the only way I am going to get back on track.
