Wordless Wednesday

Oh come on now, I think it is impossible for me to be wordless.  This was proven to me when I butt dialed my home voicemail and left a 5 minute message.  I have a serious motor mouth.

Anywhoooooo....look what showed up in the mail yesterday!  I am a bit fearful.  Thoughts????  Should I start off by easing into it by doing Shred (I am laughing at the thought of Jillian Michaels Shred DVD as EASING into something).

I saw the infomercial for this the other day and it really made me want to try it. Then I realized I'm too cheap. Hahaha...
Let us know how it goes!

I'm so excited to hear about your experience with P90x! I've been soooo tempted to buy it lately, but I'm too scared! :) Let us know how it goes!

I think the only thing to do is jumping straight in with both feet, just like a freezing cold lake or pool.

I have done P90x it's great, hard but great! The best part is that he gives you modifications, not to mention I think you have been exercising long enough to know how to modify if you need to.. don't short change yourself either.
P90X proved to me how much more I could do than what I thought!
Good luck. I look forward to hearing about it!

I'm in week three of my seond attempt at it and this time I'm taking things seriously. I'm seeing some changes and next week I'll be doubling up with my marathon training. Just do what the video says - "Do your best and forget the rest!" If you feel you're tired and you had a good workout (no cheating), then you did. Move on to the next day, things will get better.

Personally, I don't think I could handle you being completely wordless! Vee at http://veegettinghealthy.blogspot.com

Even if you hadn't added your own words in this post, there are WORDS on the box in the picture, so it still wouldn't have qualified as wordless.

I'm all about the technicalities.

Plus? The post has a title, viz. "Wordless Wednesday". Them's WORDS sister! But that's okay because I like words! But even more than words? I like irony; especially the irony implicit in having to use words to inform us that this wordless post will be wordless ... and then? It's not. Wordless, that is.

That there is irony beyond the capacity of words to express.

I've never done Shred. My advice is to watch the P90X videos ahead of time. You don't have to do all the reps, just get started and get familiar with the DVDs. I'm using P90X for weights and yoga as I train for my next half. I think the balanced workout plan is going to pay off. (I dropped the cardio type workouts from P90X and run instead). Good luck!

Part of me really wants to try P90X and part of me thinks it will just be a waste of money bc it will hurt too bad and I'll only do it once. Let me us know how you like it.
Good luck and godspeed. :)

P90X rocks! I managed to get thru almost 60 days of it, religiously, until my commute to work got 2.5 hours a day longer! Now I just can't squeeze it in without forfeiting the sleep that my body needs.

Don't be afraid of it. P90X really works (if you are good about decent nutrition too).
